Last month I heard an ad on the radio for a scavenger hunt to find a $15,000 diamond ring hidden somewhere in Spokane! I thought "Hey! Where do I sign up!?"
Last Saturday we met all the other hopefuls downtown in the park. There were 250 couples that got a spot in the hunt! Over 400 people applied. It was alot of fun! We got text messages leading us to a building or monument within a 2 mile radius of the park, and on that statue or building were answers to questions that followed. You had to text in the answer, you got 3 tries before it moved on to the next question. Each question was worth points, and who ever could answer the most questions correctly, won!
The hunt was 2.5 hours! We were running all over downtown! I never knew we had so many monuments! We decided not to bring our bikes...but we probably would have had a better chance of winning if we did! Our score was 264, and the winning couple had 414 points. They must have been speedy!! They were a young couple, so I was happy it went to them!
It was kind of like a mini "Amazing Race!" Some couples around us were arguing and getting frustrated with one another, it was funny to hear! But Jason and I didn't argue one bit! I think we were a fabulous team! :)
